Our family recently moved back to the area from the Pacific Northwest with a dream of developing a small homestead. At this moment we are blessed to share our 2 Acre HOME with 60 laying hens, 20 turkeys, 17 meat chickens, 11 ducks, 16 young fruit trees, 4 trays of seedling starts, sections for raspberries, blueberries, and thorn-less blackberries....all under the watchful eye of 3 cats. There is something so relaxing and therapeutic about getting your hands in the aromatic soil on a sunny day or opening a mason jar of garden tomatoes that smell delicious as they you did the day you canned them. Summer fresh tomatoes in a hearty winter soup is just beautiful!! What advice do you have for prospective employees of ELO? Send over that resume....You won't regret it!! What have you gained from working at ELO? Family! or Mentors would be ok too. :) Confidence, Knowledge through multiple training platforms. What are three words to describe ELO? Supportive, Flexible, Encouraging. What is your favorite sport and/or favorite team to watch? I'm not much into sports. Now, if I walked past a streaming episode of Chopped, I'd have to stick around! What's on your bucket list? I would return to Antelope Canyon and adventure around the area soaking in the beauty, only this time, on a more relaxed schedule. What places have you lived? My path has never been quite straight.
