How do we know our allowance for loan loss is accurate?
During the course of a financial statement audit or supervisory committee audit we will review the calculations and provide insights and feedback to assist your estimating process and ensure it is in accordance with GAAP.
Do I need a full financial statement audit or does a supervisory committee audit suffice?
Credit unions with assets of $500 million or more are required to have an annual financial statement audit. Credit unions with less than $500 million in assets but greater than $10 million in assets can either have an annual financial statement audit or an other supervisory committee audit. Credit unions with assets of $10 million or less can have either an annual financial statement audit or a supervisory committee audit.
