1. Pre-approval


The first step toward purchasing a new home is obtaining your pre-approval.
I'll work with you to gather all the documentation you'll need to make this happen! Here's a list to help you get started: - Identification (drivers license) - Verification of employment - Proof of income - Proof of assets




2. Find your home!


Once you know how much you can borrow, it's time to start your home search. Working with a realtor who knows the area and has great negotiation skills is crucial! I recommend Name Here and Name Here - they won't let you down!




3. Loan processing and underwriting


Once you've found your home, made an offer, and that offer has been accepted, it's time for your loan to be processed. I will work hard to ensure this process goes smoothly and happens in a timely manner. At this time, you may be asked to provide additional documentation, including a second verification of employement and income. I will work with you and your realtor throughout the home inspection and appraisal process.




4. Loan approval and clear to close


Once all documentation is in place, the home inspection has been completed and agreed upon by all parties, and the appraisal has met the underwriters' guidelines, your loan will move to the final stages of approval, and the lender will tell us when we're clear to close on your new home.




5. Closing day!


Closing day is the final step of the home buying process. You'll go to the title office with your realtor (the seller and their realtor are typically there too) and complete all the legal paperwork that is part of owning a home. Don't worry - I'll be there too, making sure the entire process goes smoothly. Unless other arrangements have been made, you'll receive the keys to your home at the end of closing!
