ABOUT JONATHAN

As a Partner and leader of our Agribusiness practice, Jonathan Guenthner manages all things agriculture for the firm. Jonathan is also the leader of our Chamberlain office. He provides tax and technical services for individuals, S-corporations, partnerships and other entities, primarily in the agricultural field to ELO clients. He also provides consultation for clients in estate and succession planning.

"I wanted to find a way to help out more farms."


Growing up on the family farm taught me many things from perseverance to hard work. While I loved the farm and love helping out on the farm, I wanted to find a way to help out more farms, so I became a CPA and began working in the area of agri-business taxation. My farm upbringing allows me to speak with farmers and ranchers and understand their operations. Seeing my family farm and neighboring farms transition, gives me an understanding and passion for helping family farmers and ranchers to continue on to the next generation. 

 

Being able to help farmers and agri-business owners understand the processes, tax consequences, and the tools to pass their farm and ranch on to the next generation is my greatest goal and achievement.
