Q&A WITH THE TEAM
What do you do and how do you make an impact for others?
I truly enjoy people and helping people, whether that comes in the form of managing tax burdens, transitioning the farm to the next generation, or dealing with the aftermath if no plan was made. My goal is to make people comfortable, treat them in a manner where they enjoy coming to see me and accomplish whatever goals they want to put in place.
What are your hobbies?
I don't have much for hobbies at this point in my life. I spend most of my time away from work chasing my four children and their activities.
What advice do you have for prospective employees of ELO?
Get to know your team and co-workers, they become like family.
What have you gained from working at ELO?
There are many things that I have gained over my years at ELO. The biggest is probably the necessity for communication, you can be the smartest person in the world but if you can't communicate what you know it won't do anybody any good.
What are three words to describe ELO?
Integrity, Community, People.
What is your favorite sport and/or favorite team to watch?
Currently Hockey and Cheer Competitions; whichever team my children are playing/competing on. Other than my children, probably the Minnesota Wild.
What's on your bucket list?
I would say my bucket list item is to visit a number of the Memorials and Smithsonian in DC.
What places have you lived?
Centerville, Stickney, Vermillion & Mitchell.
What is one place in the world you would love to visit?
Washington DC.
What's the one thing in life you could not live without?
Iced Tea, just kidding, it would be my family.
